Check that you have not got throttle and brake defined elsewhere in the controls section of the game. Invert it . OK sorted it out. took several hrs. default config then remapping everything fixed the brake throttle prob but then steering didnt work lol. so another reset sorted that out then another prob started. took 7 resets to get everything

Once in awhile, after I've been playing for a bit, the truck will suddenly stop accelerating at a normal rate. It drives as if the parking break is on, although it's not. It will happen at random times as well, such as after breaking for a stoplight or after driving up a hill. It feels like the speed retarder is turned on, although it is
First of all check If Air Pressure Brakes is turned off: Reason: When you hold the Brake button then press on Y (chat) which opens the chat and the truck will be stuck Solution: All you need to do is press S once more! And that is it, your truck should now be able to move! Hope this helps! ?
Acceleration = gearboxes with small ratios = not good for heavy cargoes. Horsepower = engine with a lot of them = good for heavy cargoes. Gas tanks = chassis 4x2 = not good for heavy cargoes. #1. The truck will slow down naturally if you let your accelerator. However if it braking hard, then check if do not have combined pedal turned on? That mean, than accelerator and brake are in one pedal, braking when fully released, accelerating when fully pressed. You can check it in control setting, if brake/accelerator are pressed when idle, or not.
AFAIK there are currently no electric semis on the road. Maybe for short range delivery in a city but not for long distance delivery. And chances are that you won't have them with batteries for long distance ever (as they would get way too heavy) so Hydrogen fuel cell-powered trucks are more likely but they are AFAIK currently in the testing
Check your in-game settings, perhaps you haven't assigned controls to the throttle. 3. Check your air pressure in trucks. 4. Make sure your gearbox is in automatic mode (in realistic automatic and others you must change gears) 5. Make sure your handbrake is not blocking your movement. 6. If all that works well and you have all the settings set
